I know it has been ten months since my last enry in the blogging world! A anonymous shout out in Christen Shanor's blog has brought me back to the dark side...at least for one more blog!
Time to kiss the house we called home for a little over four years good-bye! The Woodridge house has sold and we are preparing a new chapter in the Garcia life. After having the house on the market since March 27, 2010, we closed with a smile on our faces on July 20, 2010. Not too bad I think! The closing date was moved forward almost six weeks, so we had to scramble to find a rent house to cram into while we finalize some house plans, financing and the building process!! We are so excited to start this chapter in our lives and welcome some blissful challenges!!
The girls are adjusting well, through some hard weeks of adjusting to their environment, they have settled in nicely. There is a big backyard for them to run and play and they are enjoying daily trips to the park and still swimming almost daily at Grandma's house (which is across the street) and at Darlin's house, still very close!!
They start Mother's Day out soon and I think we are so ready for some socialization!! Our bestie, Audrianna Martin, will be joining us as well! We are getting ready for some cold season and, if we play our cards right, maybe some chicken pox too!! Their vocabulary is growing daily, while they are speaking some Spanish and English. Thanks to Maria she talks in Spanish all day long and it is amazing what they pick up! Unfortunately, Gabby loves to tell you when there is caca in her diaper!
The are both so entertaining all the time. Olivia is tall and thin and just as independent as ever, I wonder where she gets that!! Gabrielle is loving the word NO and if you are really lucky, or she really means it, you even get a NO MAM!
The girls are always changing and learning right in front of our eyes...18 months old and making their Mamma so proud~!
